As the 2008 boating season comes to an end, York Harbor Marine Service
is pleased to announce that it has earned special recognition from
Boston Whaler in two areas this year. For
the 2nd year, the marina has been recertified at Boston Whaler's highest
level of dealer recognition, that of Master Dealer. This status
recognizes Whaler dealers who follow stringent management practices
and surpass customer expectations in sales, service and the overall
boat ownership experience. "We are very proud
of the ongoing efforts of our entire crew to maintain an outstanding
level of customer satisfaction. Everyday, we strive to exceed customer
expectations whether it relates to a new boat sale or providing maintenance
and repair services.", reported Eric Lusty, the General Manager.
In addition, at the annual Boston Whaler dealer meeting, Sales
Manager, David Stevenson, received special recognition for Outstanding
Sales in 2008. "Although we aren't the biggest Boston Whaler
dealer, we reached the Top 25 in sales for 2008 by offering great
personal service. We specialize in selling
Boston Whalers and we work hard to make sure people get the boat that
is right for them," said Stevenson. York Harbor also offers

In September 2007, York Harbor Marine Service received Boston Whaler's
Master Dealer Award. This designation is awarded for achievement of
specific operational guidelines and implementing best practices which
lead to achieving a high level of customer satisfaction in sales,
service, and the overall ownership experience.
"As the new owners, we are extremely proud of the York Harbor Marine
Service crew that has enabled us to be included in such a distinguished
group, said Eric and Phil Lusty. "This means we are among the best
of those selling and servicing the legendary Boston Whaler". Boston
Whaler President John Ward stated that "by working hard to earn Master
Dealer Status, our dealers are raising the bar in terms of customer
relations in the marine industry."
The Avala Marketing Group coordinates and audits the Boston Whaler
Master Dealer program. Avala consultants monitor and measure dealer
performances and certify those who successfully complete the requirements.
An exhaustive and time-consuming process for dealers, the program
includes regular on-site inspections and annual re-certification.
